وَقَدۡ كَفَرُوۡا بِهٖ مِنۡ قَبۡلُۚ وَيَقۡذِفُوۡنَ بِالۡغَيۡبِ مِنۡ مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيۡدٍ

And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away
