Legislated Ruqyah from the Prophetic Sunnah

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ.

I seek refuge in Allah, the Mighty, and in His Noble Face, and in His eternal sovereignty, from the accursed Satan.

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ.

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan, from his madness, his pride, and his poetry.

أعوذُ بكلماتِ اللهِ التامَّةِ ، مِن كُلِّ شيطانٍ وهامَّةٍ ، ومِن كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لامَّةٍ.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil, harmful eye.

أعوذُ بكلماتِ اللهِ التامَّاتِ مِن شرِّ ما خَلق.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ، اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ.

In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that troubles you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, Allah heals you; in the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ (ثَلَاثًا)، أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ (سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ).

In the name of Allah (three times), I seek refuge in Allah and in His power from the evil of what I feel and am wary of (seven times).

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ.

I ask Allah the Mighty, Lord of the mighty Throne, to heal you.

اللَّهُمَّ ربَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِب الْبَأسَ، واشْفِ، أَنْتَ الشَّافي لا شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفاءً لا يُغَادِرُ سقَماً.

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the affliction and heal, for You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness.

اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ عَبْدَكَ، وصَدِّقْ رَسُولَك.

O Allah, heal Your servant, and confirm the truthfulness of Your Messenger.

اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَذْهِبْ عَنْهُ حَرَّ الْعَيْنِ وَبَرْدَهَا وَوَصَبَهَا.

O Allah, bless him, and remove from him the heat, coldness and pain of the evil eye.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

O Allah, we ask You for the good that Your Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked You for, and we seek refuge in You from the evil that Your Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sought refuge from. You are the One sought for help, and upon You rests the conveyance of the message, and there is no power and no strength except by Allah.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, the Mighty, the Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Lord of the noble Throne. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the mighty Throne.

رَبّنَا الَّلهُ الذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ، تَقَدَّسَ اسمُكَ، أَمرُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ، كَمَا رَحمَتُكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَاجْعَلْ رَحْمَتَكَ فِي الأَرْضِ، اغفِر لَنَا حَوْبَنَا وَخَطَايَانَا، أَنتَ رَبُّ الطَّيِّبِينَ، أَنزِلْ رَحْمَةً مِن رَحمَتِكَ، وَشِفَاءً مِن شِفَائِكَ عَلَى هَذَا الوَجَعِ، فَيَبرَأ.

Our Lord is Allah who is above the heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your command holds in the heaven and the earth. As Your mercy is in the heaven, so make Your mercy on the earth. Forgive us our sins and our errors. You are the Lord of the good ones. Send down some mercy from Your mercy, and some healing from Your healing upon this pain, so that it may be cured.

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ، مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، وَبَرَأَ، وَذَرَأَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ .

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, which neither the righteous nor the wicked can transgress, from the evil of what He has created, formed and spread abroad, from the evil of what descends from the sky and what ascends therein, from the evil of what He has scattered in the earth and what emerges from it, from the evil of the trials of night and day, and from the evil of every visitor that comes by night, except a visitor who comes with good, O Most Merciful.

بِسـمِ اللهِ الذي لا يَضُـرُّ مَعَ اسمِـهِ شَيءٌ في الأرْضِ وَلا في السّمـاءِ وَهـوَ السّمـيعُ العَلـيم.

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ ، وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ ، وَمَنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ ، وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils, and lest they come near me.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ ، أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عِرْقٍ نَعَّارٍ ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَرِّ النَّارِ.

In the name of Allah the Mighty, I seek refuge in Allah the Great from the evil of every throbbing vein, and from the evil of the heat of the Fire.

بِسْمِ اللهِ تربَةُ أَرْضِنَا، بِرِيقةِ بَعْضِنَا، يُشْفَى سَقِيمُنَا، بإِذْنِ رَبِّنَا.

In the name of Allah, the soil of our earth, with the saliva of some of us, our sick one is healed, by the permission of our Lord.

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، أَنْ يُعَافِيَكَ وَيَشْفِيَكَ.

I ask Allah the Mighty, Lord of the mighty Throne, to grant you well-being and heal you.

اللَّهُمَّ بَرِّدْ قَلْبِي بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ ، اللَّهُمَّ نَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ.

O Allah, cool my heart with snow, hail and cold water. O Allah, cleanse my heart of sins as You cleanse a white garment of filth.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ تَكْشِفُ الْمَغْرَمَ وَالْمَأْثَمَ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ، وَلَا يُخْلَفُ وَعْدُكَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ، سُبْحَانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your noble Face and Your perfect words from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold. O Allah, You remove debt and sin. O Allah, Your army is not defeated, Your promise is not broken, and the good fortune of the fortunate one avails him nothing against You. Glory be to You and praise be to You.

بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ يُبْرِيكَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يَشْفِيكَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ، وَشَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي عَيْنٍ.

In the name of Allah, He cures you, and heals you from every disease, and from the evil of an envier when he envies, and from the evil of every possessor of an evil eye.

اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ عَبْدَكَ يَنْكَأُ لَكَ عَدُوًّا ، أَوْ يَمْشِي لَكَ إِلَى صَلاةٍ.

O Allah, heal Your servant, that he may strike a blow against an enemy for Your sake, or walk to prayer for Your sake.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ.

O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim among all the nations; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ، اللهُ يَشْفِيكَ، بِسمِ اللَّهِ أَرقِيكَ

In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that troubles you, and from the evil of every soul or envious eye, Allah heals you; in the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you.
