Seeking Protection for Children

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُعَوِّذُ الحَسَنَ وَالحُسَينَ رضي الله عنهما ((أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لاَمَّةٍ)).

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to seek protection for Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them), [saying]: 'I seek protection for you both in the Perfect Words of Allah, from every devil and poisonous pest, and from every evil, harmful eye.'
